It appears that Jane Hayer, mother of Frank Forester is the sister of Mary Esther Hayer (b1855 Bethnal Green) who married Skipworth Savell.

Frank Forester Jr., a retired banker, died of intestinal cancer Saturday at the Memorial  Sloan- Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan. He was 72 years old and lived in Plandome, L.I. 

 

Mr. Forester retired in 1980 as executive vice president of the Morgan Guaranty Trust Company  and as executive vice president and treasurer of its parent concern, J. P. Morgan & Company Inc.  He had joined Morgan Guaranty in 1948. 

 

Before that he worked for Price Waterhouse, the accounting concern, and for the Warsaw (N.Y.)  Electric Company. He graduated from Yale in 1937. 

 

Mr. Forester is survived by his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Valerie, and a son, Frank 3d, all of  Plandome; a sister, Muriel J. Reid of Mill Neck, L.I., and two grandchildren.

Richard Van Zandt Salembier, Jr., 69, of Englewood, FL, passed away  Wednesday, (May 30, 2001) at Bon Secours/Venice Hospital, Venice, FL. Mr.  Salembier was born December 26, 1931 in Mineola, NY to Richard V.Z. and  Jessie Marjorie (Forester) Salembier, Sr. He attended Fairfield Country Day  School and Canterbury Preparatory School in Connecticut. He was a U.S. Army  Infantry Veteran and continued with his education by receiving a B.A in History  and Economics in 1954 from Hobart College, Geneva, NY.

 

He began his financial  career at a NYC brokerage firm and in 1969 he joined Liberty National Bank and  Trust Co in Buffalo, NY as vice-president, and later senior vice-president in  charge of the bank's  securities division. In 1976 he relocated to Albany, NY,  becoming vice-president and officer in charge of Central Portfolio Management of  Norstar Bancorp. In 1986 he assumed responsibility for tax-free investments at a  subsidiary of Norstar in Rochester, NY. Norstar merged with Fleet Bank (Rhode  Island) and is now Fleet Boston Financial. Following retirement from Fleet  Financial, Richard and his wife, Marilyn moved in 1988 from New York State to  Englewood, FL.

 

Mr. Salembier was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity and past  president of the Buffalo chapter of Hobart Alumni Association. Professional  affiliations included the American Institute of Banking, New York State Bankers'  Association, Bond Club of NYC, and in Florida the B.P.O. Elks Lodge #2378,  Kawanis Club, and The Lemon Bay Conservancy all in Englewood, FL.

 

Surviving  is his loving wife of 46 years, Marilyn J. (Hunter) Salembier of Englewood, FL;  son, Richard Van Zandt Salembier, III and his wife, Christine of Williamsville, NY;  daughters, Denise E. Salembier of Keansburg, NJ, Sharon L. Salembier of  Albany, NY; brother, Jeffrey Salembier of Monticello, GA; sisters, Yvonne Horelik  of Baltic, Elaine Horelik of New Canaan, Marjorie Hurley of Manchester, VT, Diane Shoemaker of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Sandra Eskey of Delray Beach, FL, Sharon Lawson of Armonk, NY; grandchildren, Russell and Rachel de Moose of  Keansburg, NJ, and Kendra Salembier of Buffalo, NY.

 

Visitation will be from 10 am-12 Noon, Tuesday, June 5, at Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Englewood Chapel  with a funeral service following at 12 Noon at the funeral home with The Rev. Dr.  Jennifer L. Turick, Pastor of Community Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment  will be later in New York State. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mr. Salembier's  memory are suggested to the American Lung Association of Gulfcoast Florida,  2201 Cantu Court, Sarasota, FL 34232 or American Cancer Society, South  Sarasota County Unit, 2100 S.
